The campaign can also include a short SMS reminder with a direct renewal link. This should be used near the final reminder window, when urgency is highest and the action is simple.

Roadblocks and Considerations
The main operational challenge would be keeping the renewal list accurate. Members who renew after the first or second email should be removed from the remaining renewal reminders.
Another consideration is SMS permission. SMS should only be sent to members who have opted in to receive text messages from the organization.
The renewal link should be simple, direct, and easy to complete on mobile. This is especially important if SMS is included.
Messaging should stay focused on renewal only. Adding surveys, event promotions, or general museum updates could distract from the primary action.
